Case Study – First Degree Murder

Case Study – First Degree Murder

In a highly publicized Kansas City metro first degree murder case, Rick Carney Law used a forensic lab to test the tip of a bullet that had been fired into the upper body of the victim.  Utilizing an electron microscope, the lab discovered particles of silicon embedded in the tip of the projectile; proving that the bullet had been fired through a glass window. Thus negating testimony that the victim was shot out in the open, resulting in a not guilty verdict for our client.
